Day 1: Future Photonics Hub Industry Day (7^th September 2022: 9am-5pm)

The Future Photonics Hub Industry Day will consist of keynote talks, as well as talks from broader stakeholders providing insightful views about the photonics landscape and emerging technologies. Throughout the day there will be a showcase of research ongoing at the ORC and exhibits from both photonics related researchers and companies, which will be a great opportunity for networking and exploring collaborative working. In addition, there will be a chance to have a tour of the Zepler Institute world leading cleanroom facilities.

Day 2: CORNERSTONE Training Day in partnership with Luceda Photonics (8^th September 2022: 9am-5pm)

CORNERSTONE is open source, license free Silicon Photonics rapid prototyping foundry based at the Universities of Southampton and Glasgow. This in person training event aims to showcase CORNERSTONE’s capabilities and platforms and inform delegates how to access CORNERSTONE and what we can do to help you achieve your research goals. There will also be a hands-on training session with Luceda Photonics’ IPKISS software.
