The inaugural Thin Film Coatings for Electro-optics meeting will be held in Liverpool on 5 September 2019.

The meeting is designed to bring together researchers from different disciplines, and covers topics such as thin film lighting and displays, glass coatings, precision optical coatings, and thin films for renewable energy applications. The format includes invited speakers, as well as contributed talks and posters, in addition to a networking drinks reception.

It is organised by the IOP Thin Films and Surfaces Group, and sponsored by the Optical, IPSI, and Semiconductor Physics Groups.
