Award recipients receive promotion across SPIE channels and exposure at SPIE Photonics West, which attracts more than 22,000 attendees each year. 2026 saw UK winners Phlux Technology Ltd in the sensors category and Cerca Magnetrics Ltd win the Catalyst award. Further UK applications encouraged for the 2027 awards.
Applications are due by 11 September 2026. Eligible products must have a first commercial eligibility date between October 2025 and September 2026.
