New Quantum Sensing PhD call from dstl covers key photonic topics

DSTL has announced its intention to fund a second tranche of Quantum Sensing Phd’s starting in October 2019.  The scope include many key photonics themes including:-

• electro-optics components
• novel VIS/IR sources
• single and multiphoton detectors
• digital optical delay lines
• photonics integrated circuits
• optical combs
• sub-shot noise imaging
• enhanced LIDAR

Pre-registration of interest required by 23 September with briefing meeting 10 October and closing date for applications 31 December 2018
