In collaboration with SPIE’s Public Policy team and the Knowledge Transfer Network, the Photonics Leadership Group are organising a webinar on the forthcoming UK National Security Investment (NSI) legislation and its potential impact on photonics on Tuesday, February 9 @ 16:00-17:00 GMT
This key new law will require mandatory notification to government of asset transfers of many types (from company sale to IP & design transfers) in many areas including photonics and compound semiconductor materials, metamaterials, quantum technology and communications.
Leanne Thomas, Corporate Director, Greenaway Scott will summarise the potential impact of the Bill from a legal perspective followed by a Q&A panel discussion with a US lawyer and Dr John Lincoln of the Photonics Leadership Group and representative from the UK Department of international trade.
