Innovate UK is launching a new series of £50k fast start grants for those who working in any of the seven key transformative technologies areas identified in the UK’s 2021 Innovation strategy including ‘electronics, photonics and quantum’.

Businesses who are offered grant funding, will also be offered tailored business support through Innovate UK EDGE. Projects must focus on either achieving net zero or self-driven healthcare, and how new technology can enable affordable, adoptable and investable innovations in these areas. Proposals are welcomed which help develop ideas, evidence and enable markets, funding and commercialisation plans , indicating (in PLG’s view) applications for market assessments and evaluations would be welcomed.
The fast start competition opens on the 11 July 2020, with online Q&A on the 12 and 18 July 2022.
